Jimmy and Vohnda Miller saw the future over 30 years ago and decided to become part of it by planting a few acres of blueberries. That cautious first step has grown into one of the largest and most diversified blueberry farms, packing operations, plant nurseries and U-Pick opportunities in the southeast.
Through a relationship with the University of Florida, the Michigan Blueberry Growers Association and other organizations they have operated at the leading edge of blueberry growing technology. That technology has made it possible for blueberries to take an ever more prominent role in a world seeking great tasting foods that promote good health.
The need to keep our own fields growing with the best possible fruit producing varieties has encouraged us to develop a very significant nursery capability. Our traditional nursery operation is supported by our tissue culture facility. This allows us to ensure the highest quality, disease free plants that will provide the shortest possible path to profitable berry production.
